Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of the GentlePact website and your purchase of products from us. By visiting the site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy, Shipping, and Return and Refund policies. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Eligibility and account information

You must be able to enter a binding contract where you live. Information you provide at checkout or through an account must be accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials.

2. Products and product safety

We work to describe and display products accurately, but colors, dimensions, and appearance may vary slightly by screen or manufacturing batch. Availability may change without notice.

GentlePact products are pet-care and training aids, not veterinary equipment. Always supervise use, inspect your dog’s paws and nails regularly, and stop if you notice pain, sensitivity, redness, or injury. Front-nail scratch boards may not address hind nails or dewclaws. Consult a veterinarian or professional groomer when appropriate.

3. Orders

Your order is an offer to purchase. We may accept, decline, limit, or cancel an order when permitted by law, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, inventory issues, or delivery restrictions. If we cancel after payment is collected, we will issue the required refund.

4. Prices, promotions, and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change without notice. Taxes, shipping, duties, and other charges are shown at checkout when applicable. Promotions may have separate terms. Unless expressly stated, discount codes and automatic bundle offers cannot be combined.

5. Shipping

Shipping methods, costs, and estimates are described at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. We are not responsible for carrier, customs, weather, or other delays outside our reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

6. Returns and refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.

7. Intellectual property

The GentlePact name, branding, website design, copy, graphics, photos, videos, and other site content are owned by us or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the site only for personal, non-commercial shopping. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, scrape, or commercially exploit site content without written permission.

8. Reviews and feedback

If you submit a review, photo, suggestion, or other feedback, you represent that you have the right to share it and that it is accurate and lawful. You grant GentlePact a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and adapt that feedback for operating and promoting the business. We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

9. Third-party services

The site may use or link to services operated by third parties, including payment, shipping, analytics, and social platforms. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services we do not control.

10. Prohibited use

You may not use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, or harmful activity; interfere with site security or operation; upload malicious code; misrepresent your identity; or collect information about others without authorization.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and products are provided “as is” and “as available,” except for warranties that cannot legally be excluded. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free site operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GentlePact is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or products. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes and termination

We may update the site, these Terms, or available services from time to time. The current version will be posted here with an updated date. We may suspend access for conduct that violates these Terms or threatens the site or other users.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where GentlePact is established, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights or rights to bring a claim in a forum available under applicable law.
